In October, Néstor Abatidaga, President of our Center for Technological, Business and Social Innovation (CITES), and Roberto Salvarezza, President of the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), signed a collaboration agreement that will allow scientific and technological research projects.
Among the key points in the agreement, we can mention the welcoming of scientists from CONICET to our center. The aim is to have staff from CONICET working mainly in research projects, from masters, to final projects, or doctoral dissertations related to services and technological development. With this public-private association, we contribute to the development of knowledge, the training of human resources and the communication of results to the productive and social sector.
One of our goals is to create a conglomerate of technology-based companies and play the role of mediators among the research, production, corporate and social sectors, through interdisciplinary assistance in technological and business areas, with the purpose of boosting technological, economic and social development of Sunchales (Santa Fe), where we are located, and the region.
Our activities are based on a strong connection with strategic partners like CONICET, Universities, Business Schools, Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Besides, it is important to highlight that CITES works in an interdisciplinary way in four scientific-technological areas: biotechnology, nanotechnology, ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and Engineering. This kind of agreement strengthens our connections, which will result in the fulfillment of the objectives we are working to achieve since our beginnings
Con este tipo de convenios estrechamos lazos que redundarán en el cumplimiento de los objetivos propuestos y sobre los cuales trabajamos desde nuestros inicios.
