In CITES, we manage our Sustainability Strategy by integrating ourselves into the Corporate Social Responsibility Process which includes all the companies that make up the Sancor Seguros Group. In this way we share the same philosophy of incorporating sustainability as a management system that creates economic, social and environmental value, taking into account all our stakeholders and the long term sustainable development of communities and future generations.
Our mission aims to strengthen the technological, economic and social development of the region and the country. In this sense, the company’s purpose of CITES has a strong social component.
One of the central axes of our activities is the generation of new Technology-Based Companies (TBC). Through the CITES STARTUPS Contest, we provide the opportunity for Argentine entrepreneurs to create their own TBC, contributing to the economic and technological development of the country.
With the aim of promoting access to information on new technologies and an entrepreneurial culture, CITES invites entrepreneurs to be part of social commitment from the beginning of startups.
The sustainability management process of CITES is developed within the framework of the CSR Process of the Sancor Seguros Group, working with international sustainability standards such as the ISO 26000 Social Responsibility Standard, the AA1000 series, the United Nations Global Compact Principles and the Sustainable Development Goals and their goals to 2030. In this section we introduce the Sustainability Reports of our company, as accountability tools for our stakeholders on economic, social and environmental performance and showing our contribution to the 2030 Agenda of Sustainable Development Goals. Likewise, we show our firm commitment to the aforementioned initiatives.
