CITES STARTUPS 2014: PROYECTOS SELECCIONADOS

Our Center for Technological, Business and Social Innovation (CITES), together with a jury formed by members of the Entrepreneurship Center at IAE Business School and the company Baufest, chose the projects that will participate in the 2014 edition of CITES STARTUPS Business Plans Acceleration Program, which will end in May 2015 and includes training, mentoring and pre-incubation of technological startups. The invitation to participate was addressed to entrepreneurs in areas such as Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Engineering and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), who wanted to transform their ideas into a new technology-based company.

In this opportunity, 65 projects were received, from different parts of the country. From these projects, the following 8 were selected: “Xetica, Providing Patients for Doctors and My Medical Appointments”. Entrepreneurs: Carlos Traseira, Alberto Padín, Diego González, Juan Andrés Huenz, Juan Pablo Bono, Emiliano Gudiño and Gabriel Cerutti. “Appgro”. Entrepreneurs: Martin Garcia Dutriez, Alberto García, Nicolas Garcia Dutriez. “Deltapp”. Entrepreneurs: Santiago Romero Ayala and Juan Francisco Rizzato “Industrial Purification of Proteins”. Entrepreneurs: Federico Javier Wolman, María Victoria Miranda, María Fernanda Baieli, Nicolás Urtasun, Osvaldo Cascone. “Disposable Device to Purify Plasmid DNA”. Entrepreneurs: Mirna Lorena Sanchez, Mariano Grasselli, Leandro Martínez. Project “Distributed Soil Moisture Monitoring System for Extensive Crops”. Entrepreneurs: Jairo Trad, Juan Pablo Leal Licudis, Juan Carlos Abdala. “Innovative Nanotechnology Controlled-Release Formulations for Oncology”. Entrepreneurs: Juan Manuel Peralta, Martin Gonzalo Díaz, Alcides Nicastro, Alejandro Luis Barbarini, Fernando Manuel Bertolin. “Distributed Energy Generation with Renewable Energy Sources, and Parallel Connection with Electrical Distribution Grid”. Entrepreneur: Marcelo Lenzi. Through this program, we reinforce our objective of contributing to the transformation of the productive infrastructure of the region and the country, by developing new technology-based companies that have a positive impact in society.
