CITES and Institut Pasteur Montevideo call for entrepreneur scientists with technological and business orientation

On August, 4th, CITES, together with Institut Pasteur de Montevideo, opened the call for participating in “CITES-IPMON Startups 2017”, its technological Startups acceleration program, which will allow entrepreneur scientific with VMP or developed prototype to introduce their high-tech projects. These projects have to develop products and technologies oriented to solve real problems in Biomedicine, Bioinformatics, Genomics, Biotechnology, Bio Engineering, and Computational Biology.

Participants will compete to receive investment and be incubated and accelerated at Institut Pasteur Montevideo (Uruguay). Request submitting will remain opened until October, 2nd, 2017.
The central objective of the initiatives is to incubate disruptive technology based companies, that have the ability of generating complex intellectual property and which aim at a global market from their conception.

CITES-IPMON Startups is a program that involves a candidate’s selection process of three months. The different projects will be able to incubate with ease, and they will have access to extensively equipped laboratories, management support, services for legal and finance consultancy and customer and investors relations. Investment is up to 500k USD in cash and more than 100k USD in in-kind services, during an incubation period of two years.
