In an event carried out in the City of Buenos Aires on June, 28th, CITES and Fundación INECO sealed an alliance that will allow collaboration actions and reciprocal complementation to contribute with the development of a high technology entrepreneur environment, fostering technological innovation in a federal way within Argentina. In this occasion, both institutions will work for the creation of new scientific-technological base companies, especially in the areas of neurosciences and medical devices, as well as in boosting the development of vehicles for entrepreneurship capital investment in the country.
The agreement was signed by the CEO of Grupo Sancor Seguros and President of CITES, Alejandro Simón, together with Facundo Manes, President of Fundación INECO.
In his speech, the CEO of the Grupo said that CITES works “according to the vision of country and business vision that our Group has, with a solidarity, transforming vocation framed on humanism of the cooperative action itself.” Furthermore, he announced significant investments in technological innovation from the creation of a cooperative fund for the development of startups; the construction of new buildings for CITES and ICES in the educational-technological pole within Ciudad Verde (Green City) and every action related to sustainability.
On his part, Manes highlighted that this alliance is “an example of the knowledge society to which we should bet in Argentina: articulate a committed civil society which positions knowledge on the base of national development” and he was hopeful that this agreement might become “a model and which will help motorized social mobility by means of one of Argentinean strengths: creativity and innovation”.

The event, with a large audience, had the participation of referents of the science and technology world, business people, members of the political and judicial power, among others.
